Skincare Empties I’m Repurchasing On Amazon’s Prime Day Sale

It’s not spring or monsoon I wait for, with bated breaths. My favorite season is hands-down the sale season. As a beauty enthusiast, I always have a wishlist, and a lot of my go-to products are luxurious and splurge-worthy. But who doesn’t love a good discount?

As Amazon’s Prime Day is upon us, I’m stocking up on a bunch of my empties since I know they’ll all be on sale. And to save you time and energy, I’ve also convinced my team to disclose their wishlist. Here’s what you need to have on your skincare shelf, basis your skin type.

Sneha Kalra – Oily, Combination Skin

I’ve repurchased multiple bottles of the Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash, you’d think I was getting paid to use them 😛! This one has stood the test of time since it’s hydrating but doesn’t strip the skin, making it perfect for those with oily skin.

Kama Ayurveda Pure Rose Water is one of the best toners out there. Made from natural ingredients, it helps soothe the skin, calm any inflammations, and has an overall cooling effect, making it perfect for a hot summer day.

For someone who’s struggled almost her entire life with oily skin, I had a hard time understanding where the ‘chip chip’ skin ends and glass skin begins. This product was the solution to all my problems – it moisturises, controls oil, and gives my skin a healthy glow.

A boon for oily skin, the Clinique Moisture Surge is super lightweight, has a gel consistency, and is extremely hydrating. Despite there being a ton of dupes for this in the market, this one still takes the top spot!

For the past two years, sunscreen has been among the biggest buzzwords in skincare. After multiple trials and many more errors, the internet and I have collectively decided that the Beauty Of Joseon Relief Sun is unmatchable.

Nidhi Kavle, Beauty Editor – Dry, Sensitive & Acne-prone Skin

The Bioderma Atoderm Creme Ultra-Nourishing – Moisturizer is a great choice for sensitive skin since it’s packed with ingredients like niacinamide and omegas 3,6 and 9. It’s also a multi-tasking product since it can be used on both, the face and body.

With the Kalirs Vitamin E mask, a little goes a long way. A pea-sized amount is enough to quench dry skin while also leaving it feeling plump and hydrated.

The first signs of ageing show up around the eyes. Crows feet, fine lines, and wrinkles are the easiest way to classify ageing skin. The L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Hyaluronic Acid Eye Serum is *chef’s kiss* and fights every sign of ageing while hydrating the under-eyes and taking years off.

The Dot & Key Strawberry Dew Tinted Sunscreen SPF 50+ Pa++++ is one of the newer tinted sunscreens I’ve tried and enjoy using. It protects against UVA & UVB light, is water and sweat-resistant, and gives the skin sheer coverage. Like your face but with a filter!

Anwesha Das, Social Media Manager – Normal Skin

Normal skin girlies are relatively luckier – there’s not much they need to do as a basic routine suffices. The Simple Active Skin Barrier Care Smoothing Gel Face Cleanser lifts the dirt, gently exfoliates the skin, and supports barrier health while locking in moisture.

A Vitamin C serum is vital and the St.Botanica Vitamin C 20% Face Serum with Vitamin C+ Vitamin E & Hyaluronic Acid is highly effective. It not only hydrates but also brightens, reduces pigmentation, and evens out the skin tone.

A fuss-free moisturiser like POND’s Super Light Gel Oil-Free Moisturizer is a great choice. It absorbs almost instantly, is lightweight, super hydrating, and is perfect for all skin types.

Sunscreen this, sunscreen that – there’s no wrapping up a routine without sunscreen. The FAE Beauty No White Cast Lightweight Sunscreen With SPF 50+ PA++++ is fragrance-free, offers a broad-spectrum finish, and hydrates the skin.

I’m stocking up my skincare shelf while my favourite products are still on discount and suggest you do the same before time runs out!
