Shivangi Joshi Pours Her Heart Out After Quitting YRKKH & It’s Making Us Teary-Eyed

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been ruling the TRP charts for the longest time now. Fans cannot get enough of the interesting storyline, stellar cast and the adorable chemistry of the lead pair Karik (played by Mohsin Khan) and Naira  (played by Shivangi Joshi). The popular TV jodi has never failed to light up our screens and they’re part of the reason why we’ve been hooked to the show for years.

Sadly, Mohsin and Shivangi bid farewell to the show earlier this month and we’ve been heartbroken ever since. If you follow the team of YRKKH on the ‘gram, then you’d know that they’ve been having a hard time too. Shivangi especially has been quite vocal about her journey and also spoke about the love that she has received over the years recently. And now, the actress has opened up about her feelings in a goodbye letter and we can’t help but feel emotional! P.S Keep tissues handy!

Shivangi shared a heartfelt note on the ‘gram last night and articulated her emotions. She stated that YRKKH and the people on the sets have created a place in her heart for life. She wrote, “It wasn’t just a show, it was my life, my home. I have cried here, laughed here, giggled on silly jokes, danced randomly, played with kids, had food with everyone, gave silly expressions when I was supposed to give a serious look, got scolded by my director, got an applause from whole team when I gave a good shot, the list could be endless…”. She added that when she was leaving the sets for the last time, it felt like a ‘bidaai scene’ as everybody was bidding her goodbye and crying.

The Beintehaa actress also thanked her director, Rajan Shahi, for the opportunity, her unit and her co-star. Lastly, she thanked the fans for showering her characters Naira and Sirat with love. Have a look at her post here:

All this talk about #Kaira is making us miss watching them on-screen.

Well, here’s wishing Shivangi all the very best for her new journey. We can’t wait to see what she does next!
