When I saw Shanaya Kapoor for the first time on Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, two things hit my mind—a) an absolute stunner and b) totes like her mother! The way the star kid carried herself gracefully at the Le Bal to how she candidly spoke her mind, reminded a lot of us of her mom, Maheep Kapoor. Of course, it’s natural for children to resemble their parents. But, that didn’t stop us from getting stunned when we found out that she was an exact replica of her fab mom. When and how did we discover that? Quite recently when Maheep shared a throwback pic from her schooldays.
The actress took to her social media handle and shared some beautiful childhood pics. She can be seen sporting adorable braids and ponytails and trust us, it wouldn’t take you a second to spot her. Take a look:
Isn’t she adorbs?! She wrote in the caption, “School pictures ! Can you spot me ?” and tagged her alma mater. You must have guessed it already, but she’s the one in the middle row, fifth from left. Here’s another pic of her in a messy ponytail that’s winning our hearts.
Soon the comment section flooded with compliments for little Maheep and fans were quick to point out that her daughter looked just like her. A user wrote, “Shanya is totally your reflection” and another fan commented, “(Shanaya) looks just like you! Adorable!”
A few fans even added that Maheep’s son, Jahaan Kapoor resembled her a lot.
Yes, indeed they do! And, if you need a little something to give you a reminder, then here’s an utterly cute pic of baby Shanaya. Her mom shared it recently on her ‘Gram and as we said, the resemblance is uncanny!
Well, we gotta say, we love when Maheep gives us a blast from the past! Whether it’s from her childhood days or from an old trip with the other fab wives, we love these throwback photos and don’t want ’em to stop coming!
