From spending about three lacs on each invite to giving a whopping sum of about Rs 14 crores to Beyoncé for performing at their daughter Isha’s sangeet ceremony, the Ambanis have left no stone unturned to prove that they’re here to show us how wedding should be planned. FYI, shaadi abhi baaki hai mere dost!
The pre-wedding sangeet set the internet on fire with the number of dance videos that have crawled online. The sangeet ceremony was bigger and better than all of the award shows, with the crème de la crème of the film fraternity dancing and enjoying to their heart’s content.
And if you thought that this can’t get any more extra AF, then you gotta let the Ambanis take you for a ride because yeh Ambani wedding hai, meri jaan!
How many years have you waited to see Aamir Khan perform on stage? Well, your dreams have come true now. Aamir performed at the sangeet ceremony along with his another Khan.
But that’s not how the Ambanis defined ‘extra’. The song Radha from Student Of The Year was customised for Isha and the lyrics were changed for her performance.
I mean, did you see that coming? They actually got a composer to change the song for Isha and made it hers!
