Salman Khan is controversy’s favourite child. The actor often lands himself in trouble with his no-filter attitude and tongue-in-cheek comments. And yet again, the actor has ruffled some features with another WTF statement.
What did he say this time, you ask? Well, remember Palak Tiwari’s interview where she revealed how Salman ‘has a dress rule for all the women on his set.’ Bhai has finally reacted to her comments and let me just put it this way—keeping quiet would have worked way better!
Salman responded to Palak’s statement on Aap Ki Adalat and said, “I think, yeh jo auraton ki bodies hai woh bahut precious hai. Woh jitni dhaki huyi hongi, mujhe lagta hai utni better hai (I think, women’s bodies are very precious. The more they are covered, the better it is).” When the host asked him about his own shirtless stint in the song O O Jane Jane, Salman said, “I was in swimming trunks in that. And that was a different time. At present, the environment is a bit different… It’s not about women. It’s about men. The way men look at women, you know, your sisters, your wives, your mothers… I don’t like that. I don’t want them to go through these things.”
People are not pleased with Salman’s statement and are calling him out for his double standards. They are pointing out how he has been shirtless in most of his films. Others are calling out his misogyny and sexism. Here, check out some of the comments:

Well, Salman telling women what to wear instead of asking men on his set to behave is super regressive. Here’s hoping he realises how toxic he sounds!
