Raqesh Bapat’s journey in the Bigg Boss OTT house has not been easy at all. He had a tough time performing the tasks that required him to be calculative. His relationships in the house made him a little biased towards certain gharwalas and a lot of viewers could not understand his true feelings. He confessed all of this himself and believed that he was not meant for the reality show in the first place. While we disagree with him on the last bit, we do think that his time in the house became a lot more interesting because of his connection—Shamita Shetty.
The two had a bumpy start on the show, but they soon become one of the cutest couples of BB OTT. While they maintained that they were ‘just friends’, we could easily tell that there was something special between them. Turns out, we were absolutely right! Raqesh recently confessed his love to Shamita and left her completely speechless. When the actress asked him to say something nice about her, he said, “Je t’aime (I love you in French).” That’s so adorable!
Well, we are not the only ones who are happy for Shamita and Raqesh. The actor’s ex-wife, Ridhi Dogra, recently revealed her feelings about his new relationship and it’s really sweet. During an interview with a leading daily, she said that she’s happy if Raqesh wanted to explore his bond with Shamita outside the BB house. She said, “I am happy if Raqesh is happy. It’s his personal space.”
She added that she enjoyed watching him on the show as he was being real and authentic. She said, “He is the kind of person that you are seeing on the show. If there are more than two people, it’s a crowd for him. He doesn’t like to scream and shout to say what he wants to, instead he talks to people that he is comfortable with and trusts.”
We laud Ridhi for being so supportive of Raqesh and sharing all the encouraging messages for him on social media. Recently, she got in a nasty spat with Kashmera Shah on Twitter when the latter tried to troll the actor. The former BB contestant had tweeted, “Congratulations @RaQesh19 you are on your way to becoming a henpecked husband…again,” to which the Asur actress replied, “Again!? Excuse me. Kindly don’t make loose comments. Peace out.”
Coming back to Raqesh and Shamita, we hope that they do get to know each other better once BB OTT ends ‘coz we are rooting for #ShaRa!
