It’s celebration time at the Kapoor residence as Rishi and Neetu Kapoor’s daughter, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, turned 40 today. While wishes are pouring in from across the world, her husband Bharat Sahni shared some adorable throwback pictures of her on his Instagram handle to mark the special occasion. In one post, he shared a photo from their mehendi ceremony and let’s all agree that Riddhima looked stunning as a bride.

He also surprised the birthday girl with a compilation video of their old pictures and captioned it as, “Happy happy birthday Ridds #FabAtForty”.

And just when we thought it couldn’t get any mushier, Riddhima’s family and close friends decided to give her another sweet surprise. Many of them got together and grooved on the popular track, Aap Jaisa Koi and what stole the show was Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and mommy Neetu Kapoor’s dance.

In the video that Riddhima’s husband shared on his Instagram handle, Ranbir, Alia and Neetu among others can be seen dancing their hearts out to wish Riddhima on her birthday. Not only were Ranbir-Alia adorable together, Neetu Kapoor stood out with her cute and graceful dance moves. The video also featured Riddhima’s husband Bharat, her cousins Aadar Jain and Armaan Jain, along with Armaan’s wife Anissa Malhotra, her aunt Rima Jain and Manish Malhotra among some of her other friends. Riddhima also shared some glimpses of her quarantine birthday celebrations at home and it was all about family and love. Among her guests were Ranbir and cousins Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Alia, too, turned up for the birthday celebrations.

The birthday girl also shared a picture of herself while welcoming her 40s and looked stunning in a black off-shoulder top, open tresses and a statement necklace. She wrote, “Welcoming the 40s – New beginnings new ideas new energy! Bring it on”.
Well, Riddhima might have had an intimate birthday bash but it was sure full of love, and her Instagram feed is proof. We wish Riddhima a happy 40th as we wait for some more birthday pictures to come in.
