NGL, we have a soft corner for Bigg Boss love stories! There is something special about two people finding love in such a fierce competition. Last year, the first season of Bigg Boss OTT presented us with the adorable relationship of telly star Raqesh Bapat and Bollywood actress Shamita Shetty. The two had their ups and downs in the house but always managed to stick together till the end (#ShaRa FTW!).
Recently, Raqesh made his way to Bigg Boss 15 once again! We were beyond excited to see the couple back together, but is there more to the story? In the previous season of the show, many contestants have proposed to their partners in the Bigg Boss house (Hello there, Asim Riaz, Rahul Vaidya and more!). So…Is a grand proposal on the cards for Raqesh? As it turns out, the Qubool Hai actor has no such plans!
In a recent interview, Raqesh said, “I will never propose to Shamita on national television for marriage. That is a very private emotion. Whenever (it) has to happen, it will happen off the show, not on it. It is going to be a very special moment for us.”
He added, “Nothing was forced between Shamita and me. I don’t want to show my affection to somebody like that. Shamita and I are very private people and know how much to show to the public on national television.”
So, even though we won’t be a part of the grand proposal, we do have Raqesh & Shamita‘s PDA moments on the ‘Gram to live for. A little while ago, the telly star shared the cutest video featuring the Zeher actress on Instagram and penned a sweet note for his ladylove.
Raqesh wrote, “It feels odd to be seeing you on screen and not have you next to me but I know you are going to do fab, you will shine, you will make us all proud! And I will be right there metaphorically next to you supporting you in this journey! You are inspiring, you are strong, you are unique and you are real and that shall shine out!”
