Well, we’re in the exact same space again, but this time it’s with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. For weeks now, the two have been in the spotlight for their upcoming wedding. In fact, netizens are quite convinced that the lovebirds are planning to tie the knot later this month.
According to the grapevine, Ranbir and Alia have decided to tie the knot at the actor’s Chembur house where his parents got married. Earlier, the buzz was that they were planning to have a big fat Indian wedding. If the rumours are true, they’ll have an intimate wedding. We’ve been waiting for them to give us a much-needed update, and fortunately, Ranbir’s uncle, Randhir Kapoor just revealed some deets.
During a recent interview, the actor shared, “I’m not in Mumbai right now, and I haven’t heard anything about the wedding. If such a big wedding was happening at our house, somebody would have surely called me up and informed me.”
That’s not all, in a different interview, celebrity Mehendi artist, Veena Nagda said that she’d met Alia just a few days ago, but they did not talk about her wedding. “If the wedding is indeed happening this month, then it’s really going to be short notice for me,” she stated. Apart from them, a few days ago, Ranbir’s aunt, Rima Kapoor had explained the wedding was happening, just not in April.
Well, remember the time when Vicky’s aunt denied wedding rumours but they came out to be true eventually? Well, rumours may come out to be true this time again. We’d like to think that Ranbir and Alia are finally getting married and their families are trying to take the spotlight off their wedding.
