Rahul Krishna Vaidya, was undoubtedly, one of the strongest Bigg Boss 14 contestants in the house. He spiced up every conversation with his snarky remarks and mostly unsolicited opinions and yet, played relatively fair in the BB tasks. There were a lot of BB fans who were rooting for the talented singer to make it in the top four finalists and enter the next phase of the game but sadly, none of that happened. So, it was indeed shocking for a lot of his fans when Rahul did not make it as one of the four finalists and even more shocking when he chose to voluntarily exit the house.
ICYMI, let’s give you a quick recap. After Nikki Tamboli’s eviction due to lack of votes, the competition for the remaining two contenders for the finale was between Rubina Dilaik, Jasmin Bhasin, and Rahul Vaidya. However, host Salman Khan pointed out that Rahul no longer looked enthusiastic or excited about the show. Accepting the claims, Rahul confessed that he had indeed lost his mojo and no longer wanted to continue the game as he was feeling homesick. As a result, Rahul became the first-ever gharwala in the BB history to quit the show at his own will.
Well TBH, we don’t really blame Rahul for losing his interest in the show as the ever-changing format of Bigg Boss 14 could get on anyone’s nerves.
Now that Rahul is out of the Bigg Boss house, the singer has released an official statement on his social media handles. He has thanked everyone for their wishes and wrote, “To all my fans and well-wishers, this journey that I embarked upon has been nothing short of a dream. From the trends, to all the messages I received.. you all made me feel so loved. I’m so glad that I could entertain you all and seeing your response has made me realise how huge our fandom has become. Your relentless love, support & admiration has been overwhelming and I can’t thank you all enough. BIG LOVE AND BLESSINGS TO YOU ALL, Aapka Rahul Vaidya.”
As Salman Khan said, if Rahul had not decided to quit the show, he would have definitely been one of the top four finalists by the virtue of votes. However, we completely understand Rahul’s decision and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
