The portrayal of Sonia Roy in the blockbuster hit film was the first time she got recognized for her acting talent. She even went on to win the Best Performance in a Negative Role. But you might be wondering why we are dwelling into Priyanka Chopra’s applaud-worthy past performances? Well, it’s because the latest rumour making the rounds in tinsel town is that PC has signed Aitraaz 2 and it is scheduled for this December!

Mumbai Mirror reported that a source close to the filmmaker revealed, “It’s a new story with a new title. Subhash Ghai has already had a word with Priyanka Chopra and the two have discussed the film. She loves the idea of a sequel to a film which won her accolades for her performance in a negative role and is excited to feature in the second instalment of the franchise. She is keen to collaborate with Ghai again and has even told him that she will try working around her dates.”
We are wishing with all our heart that PC signs Aitraaz 2 because we can’t wait to see another fabulous performance from the powerhouse of talent on our big screens, closer to home.
