The Kasautii Zindagii Kay actor Parth Samthaan lost his father last weekend due to age-related illness. The actor’s father was admitted in a hospital in Pune on Thursday. Parth had immediately rushed from the sets of the show in Mumbai on Thursday night. He has now returned to shooting for Kasautii Zindagii Kay, in which he plays Anurag Basu, and shared an emotional post as a tribute to his father on Instagram.

Earlier this month, Parth bought his first house in Mumbai and gifted it to his parents.
