OMG! After Dostana 2, Did Kartik Aryan Just Walk Out Of Red Chillies’ Next Movie?

I’ve had a huge crush on Kartik Aryan ever since I first saw him in the movie Pyar Ka Punchnama. I mean, it’s hard to not be smitten by his witty replies and boy-next-door attitude, right? Over the years, he has become one of the most sought after actors in B-town.

Be it his linkups to his co-stars or talks of his impressive performances, the Luka Chuppi lead is constantly in the spotlight. But off late, the actor’s career moves have become the talk of the town and for all the wrong reasons.

Just a few weeks ago, Kartik walked out of Karan Johar’s Dostana 2, leaving fans disappointed. But then, we sort of consoled ourselves and decided to focus on his next movie. But it looks like we’ll have to wait for a long time to watch the actor on our screens.

Shocked? So are we! Grapevine is buzzing that Kartik is no longer a part of Red Chillies Entertainment’s Goodbye Freddie. In this movie, Kartik was paired with Katrina Kaif and netizens were super excited to see this gorgeous jodi on-screen.

You may be wondering about his reason to walk out? Turns out, the main reason for Kartik being dropped from the movie is the same as Dharma Productions’ Dostana 2. According to a leading publication, “This time too, Aaryan wanted the script changed-after having approved of it while signing the film. Luckily for Red Chillies, the film had not gone on the sets and hence there isn’t a lot of investment gone into the film, which would’ve otherwise gone down the drain.”

A little birdie also told us that the actor has already returned the signing amount of Rs 2 crore.

Kartik’s next movie is Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, opposite Kiara Advani and it’s slated to hit the screen this year. Well, after all this, we can’t help but keep our fingers crossed that it gets released without any hiccups.
