We’re all set to witness one of the biggest fashion nights of the year aka the Met Gala 2023. It is going to be extra special for India as Alia Bhatt is all set to make her debut on the prestigious red carpet. Priyanka Chopra will be attending the event as well. Who’s That Girl?
From Kim Kardashian’s complete all-black red carpet look to Billie Eilish channelling her inner Marilyn Monroe, we saw some solid looks on the MET Gala 2021 red carpet (In America: A Lexicon Of Fashion). But our eyes were fixed on Sudha Reddy!
Sudha is a well-known Philanthropist and the wife of Hyderabad-based billionaire businessman Megha Krishna Reddy. She made heads turn with her MET Gala debut in a customized couture gown by Falguni and Shane Peacock. It took 250 man-hours to create the gold gown that had hues of the American flag embroidered with sequins and Swarovski crystals. “We have created a novel edgy military-inspired look that blends well with the overall theme of the MET Gala,” the designers shared.
A major chunk of credit for Sudha’s standout look goes to the A1 accessories. With her OTT ensemble, she opted for a custom-made ear cuff piece by jewellery designer Farah Khan called Dreamy Decadence. To take it up a notch, Sudha finished off her look with Judith Leiber’s Lord Ganesha clutch!
