A fashion blogger and an entrepreneur – Natasha Shrotri is an avid traveller and loves all things fashion. She has been to some of the prettiest places in the world and made many lovely friends during her travels. Her blog Mariposa Love started of as a hobby and has now evolved into an online store. Which is great since it lets us girls do the one thing we love the most – shop in our pyjamas! She believes in following her heart and working hard towards making her dreams come true. Read on to find out more about our newest super blogger recruit.
What sparked your interest in fashion and beauty?
I have been intrigued by fashion and beauty ever since I was a kid. I would always raid my mom’s closet as she was a very stylish woman. It was watching my mom dress up that sparked my interest in fashion.
What is your personal style statement?
Personally, I love challenging myself with different style trends and I love to carry them off with elegance. I like to keep it exciting and trendy, yet wearable and comfortable.
What made you take up blogging?
My interest in fashion picked up when I was living in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I was amazed by the fashion trends there and then it sparked the idea of a blog where I could share my fashion experiences from different countries. I took up blogging as a full time profession in 2014 when I moved back to India as I saw a big fashion and social media revolution here. I also noticed how women in India were very enterprising and fashion conscious. I always wanted to make blogging my profession and now I feel blessed to be a part of such an amazing community.
What would you like to tell all aspiring bloggers?
All I will say is, follow your heart, be brave to be different and believe in yourself. Let people see who you really are and what your style is.

Water! On days that I drink a lot a of water, I feel my skin starts glowing and feels healthy.

I don’t think that is possible for me. But if I have to then a little black dress will be it.

Choco chip muffins.

Blue lip color.

Success is a journey where you are doing what you love and following your heart.

Fame to me is appreciation of your good work. Money is just a form of energy, to see it as positive or negative is all in our minds.
7. You look up to?
Entrepreneurs who followed their hearts and are self made.
8. The ONE thing no one knows about you?
Chipped nail polish freaks me out, on me or someone else. I have manicure OCD.
9. What is your biggest strength?
Love and support from my family.
10. If you could be anyone for a day, who would you like to be?
A skydiver. I totally fear jumping out of a plane. It will be a great experience for sure if I did not fear that for a day.
