We are halfway into 2022 and you know what that means, right? *Drumroll please* It’s time for the next season of Bigg Boss OTT to drop online and we are hella excited. A little birdie told us that the makers of Bigg Boss OTT have roped in a few celebs who have been dominating headlines for all the right and wrong reasons. In fact, few of these faces are familiar to all of us ‘coz we have already seen them in one of our favourite reality shows— Lock Upp.
According to a source close to Bigg Boss OTT’s development team, so far Munawar Faruqui and Poonam Pandey have been locked in for the show. NGL, when we heard that Munawar is going to be a part of BB OTT, we were left quite intrigued. From starting off as a stand-up comic to becoming one of the most popular reality show stars, this young lad has come a long way.
Munawar already has a massive fan base, all thanks to his stint in the Lock Upp and we are dying to see more of him. He is not just entertaining, but quite a smart player as well who knows how to turn things in his favour.
During a recent AMA session that he hosted on his Instagram handle, Munawar revealed that he might enter the Bigg Boss house soon. Honestly, if that happens, the other participants will surely have a tough time in the show.
Meanwhile, Poonam is already well-known for her bold statements and controversies. In an interview with a leading daily, the actress said, “I know they like to judge but at least judge after knowing the real me. Yes, I’m looking forward to starting things with a clean slate and am open to doing whatever this universe provides me. I’m open to anything now, even Bigg Boss.”
Apart from these Poonam and Munawar, Akanksha Puri, Anushka Sen and Hamid Barkzi have been approached for the show as well, but nothing is confirmed yet.
Seems like the Bigg Boss makers are all set to deliver a masaledar new season and we are already counting the days to the show’s premiere. ‘Coz we don’t know about you, but we can smell scandals already.
