Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin series is loved dearly by all. The TRPs are real-time proof of the fact that every other Indian household swears by this show. Right after Ekta Kapoor announced the wrap up of the Season 4 starring Anita Hassandani, the team came out with the Teaser for the next season, starring Hina Khan in the lead. Fans could not contain their excitement and some pronounced it a blockbuster even before the show released.

Adding to the excitement, the makers of the show revealed that the Miley Jab Hum Tum actor, Mohit Sehgal will be playing the lead opposite Hina Khan in Naagin 5. According to a popular daily, his character will be called Jay. Earlier, the show producers had also announced casting Dheeraj Dhoopar and Mohit Malhotra in the show.
Season 5 of the hit show has also roped in actors Kajal Pisal, Kamaal Malik, Shreyas Pandit and Joshna Mudvari for prominent roles. Apart from this, we also know that Surbhi Chandna will play the reincarnated version of the shape-shifting serpent.
If you go by the teaser of Naagin 5, the story is about the Naagin’s long lost love and the complications that follow. The same was announced by Ekta Kapoor on Instagram last week.
Hina was last seen in Kasautii Zindagi Kay in 2020 and Mohit was last seen in Sarojini – Ek Nayi Pehal opposite Shiny Doshi on Zee TV which he quit in 2016.
The shoot for Naagin 5 has started and the show has already premiered on Colours last weekend. You can catch the show every weekend from 8 pm to 9 pm on Colors. With so many versatile actors and such a gripping storyline, we are super excited to see what this season has in store for us.
