Everyone makes mistakes, everyone has those unproductive days. Apparently, Bollywood has way too many of them. I decided to make a list of rookie mistakes that I spotted in some of our favourite Bollywood movies. From Jab Tak Hai Jaan to Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, the mistakes are plenty and absolutely silly!
1. Krrish
Preity Zinta AKA Nisha was pregnant for 2 years because that’s how long Rohan was gone to work for the evil IT company. Either that or it was just jadoo.
2. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara
The two prominent festival shown in the film are Fiestas de San Fermín aka running with the bulls held from 6th to 14th of July and La Tomatina held on the last Wednesday of August. But in the movie, La Tomatina takes place first and is followed by Fiestas de San Fermín, just three weeks later. How?
3. Lagaan
The number of balls in an inning, when played by England during that period in 1892, were 5. And not 6, which is the format we currently follow and is shown in the movie.
4. Jab Tak Hai Jaan
I have just one question, how did she reach the middle of the lake without swimming there? Maybe you should have wet her clothes to make it look convincing?
5. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani
Notice how Bunny takes the book from her hand along with her suitcase? But in the next scene, she’s holding the book once again. Umm, missed out on the details there, guys, didn’t you?
6. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge

The famous Jaa Simran Jee Le Apni Zindagi scene was supposed to have taken place in Punjab. But the scene is actually shot at the Apta Railway Station which is in Maharashtra. Maybe you could have painted over the sign?
7. PK
Sarfaraz tells Jagat that he works at the Pakistan Embassy in Bruges. But Belgium’s Pakistan Embassy is in Brussels and not Bruges. Honestly, though, this fact was just one internet search away.
8. Haider
You can catch the cell phone towers in the background as Shahid Kapoor dances away. Well, the film is set in 1995 and Kashmir had no such towers back then. Could’ve just photoshopped it, guys!
9. Queen
Rani comes back to her hotel room after a long day, with her phone on the bed and then in the same scene, the phone shifts to the side-table. What were you thinking?!
10. Chennai Express
Rahul leaves home saying, ‘Let’s go grandpa’ and the scene cuts to his grandmother handing him the ashes once again at the railway station. This is what happens when you’re lazy.
