Currently, a black Abercrombie & Fitch midi is going viral on social media. The craze started after Olivia McDowell, a fashion blogger posted a TikTok video of her in the strappy dress that featured a corset-inspired bodice and voluminous skirt. She styled it with minimal gold jewels and looked glorious! Pretty soon, fashion girls were running to buy the dress and it started going viral on social media.
The midi has become a legit trend now and is flying off Abercrombie’s shelves like hot cakes. Which, by the way, is one of the reasons why I need to cop it stat. It is still available in my size on the brand’s website and retails for ₹ 8,952.
However, as someone who is in the need of budgeting when the month has not even properly begun, 9k sounds like a whopper, right? This is exactly why I had to launch an intense research and look for dupes. And guess what? I have found the perfect one on Zara for less than 1/3rd of the price! The brand has been offering a similarly cut strappy dress complete with a plunging neckline, voluminous skirt, and the same length. The resemblance is uncanny and I really love the scalloped neckline of the Zara dress.
Now, the thing is that Zara too has limited stock of the dress and I do not want to miss this opportunity and regret it later. If you think about it, I am actually saving money, no? And you know what, a girl can do without cheesecakes for a month! Because this Zara dress is getting ordered right now. *BRB*
