No, this ain’t the plot of Lilly’s new video. This is happening in reality. The Canadian Youtuber is currently busy creating history. Adding a new feather in the cap of her many accomplishments, she just launched her first TV show and became the first bisexual person and a woman of colour to have her own late-night show in the history of American television.

The show, titled A Little Late With Lilly Singh, made its debut on Monday with The Mindy Project’s Mindy Kaling and Rainn Wilson from The Office as her first guests.
Well, when Lilly is up to something, it has to be full of swag. No wonder, she is killing it in this hilarious introductory rap to her new show that was released before the first episode of her show aired.
The pre-taped segment shows Lilly entering a room full of white male executives, who are there to plan her new show. Funny that she had to push two men aside to get a seat! Lilly, are you saying that they are Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon? Because we know we are so used to seeing them in the late-night shows?

The rap goes on to explain how Lilly’s show will not be a cookie-cutter in the late-night shows space and we bet she’s making a really strong point here. She even wants Hollywood to take some notes and we couldn’t agree more!

Currently, Lilly is one of the only two women with a late-night show to their credits. The other being Samantha Bee, who hosts the weekly show Full Frontal With Samantha Bee. In 2017 Lilly was ranked ten on the Forbes List of the highest-paid YouTubers.
