Raise your hand if you miss Koffee With Karan and want it to return with a new season stat *scans the room and finds all hands up in the air*. Well, we miss the talk show too and can never get enough of the ‘Rapid Fire’ rounds that host Karan Johar played with his guests. While the filmmaker was adamant that he wouldn’t release the seventh instalment of the series, he did release its spin-off called Koffee Shots With Karan recently. TBH, we’re not complaining at all!
The second episode of the show is all set to release on December 21 on Disney+ Hotstar and its teaser is making us hella excited. Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush will be spilling beans on the Koffee couch as KJo’s new guests and this clip has us convinced that it will be interesting AF! Take a look:
The actors will be promote their upcoming movie, called Atrangi Re, on the show. The movie is all set to release on December 24. We have to say that their chemistry is looking fab in the teaser and we’re loving the masti they’re having on the couch. While talking about the episode during a media interaction, Karan said, “This is my most atrangi episode on Koffee Shots With Karan yet! It was great to be back on the Koffee couch once again and it was even more special that it was with Sara and Dhanush, especially given that it was Dhanush’s debut on the show.”
Well, we are pretty sure that Koffee debutant Dhanush will give Sara a run for her money during the quiz round. The way he pressed the buzzer multiple times when KJo asked them to name five South Indian filmmakers was hilarious AF!
Also, we are convinced that the actress will go back home with the Koffee hamper FOSHO! When asked about the actors she would like to have in her Swayamvar, she replied, “Ranveer Singh, Vijay Deverakonda, Vicky Kaushal and Varun Dhawan.” After KJo pointed out that their wives would be watching the episode, she jokingly said, “I hope their husbands are also!” Well well, now those are some bold answers and we love how Sara is being her candid best.
Dhanush and Sara will play the roles of husband and wife in Atrangi Re. We got a glimpse of their chemistry in the show’s teaser and we loved what we saw. While talking about this new on-screen jodi, Karan said, “What made it really atrangi was the chemistry between Sara and Dhanush. They’re both poles apart and make an atrangi duo together! This only added to the fun we had during the shoot! I’m eager to watch how this chemistry has translated on-screen.”
Same KJo, same! We are eager to watch Atrangi Re on Disney+ Hotstar on December 24 and are pretty sure that it’s going to be amazing.
