If you like to start your day with a strong cup of coffee (just like me), then you are going to love this surprise. Well, today is the day when you will be served with Koffee that’s pipin’ hot and stronger than you’ve ever tasted. Karan Johar will brew it himself while making his special guests spill the beans. We are sure you have guessed it already—Koffee With Karan is back and we’re hella excited about it!
A lot of viewers were disappointed when KWK went off the air after its sixth season in 2019. While the show is not back with a new season, it is all set to grab our attention with its special episode. Disney+Hotstar released its official promo yesterday and it is making us excited AF! Take a look:
In the episode, Karan will have a chat with the lead actors of the new web series, The Empire. Drashti Dhami, Dino Morea and Kunal Kapoor will spill the beans some major about their show that will surprise everyone. The social media handle of the OTT platform shared the clip and wrote in the caption, “There definitely might be some coffee to spill while they created this grand show! What is it? To know more please watch the special episode of Koffee Shots with Karan!”
In typical KWK style, the host will have some witty questions for his guests and it seems that the actors are all set to stump him with their quirky replies. In the promo, Karan can be seen asking Drashti about her role model, and the actress almost says ‘Kangana Ranaut’. But, she stops herself and changes her answer to Priyanka Chopra. TBH, we love KJo’s priceless reaction when he says, “I am keeping a straight face.”
In another shot, Karan asks the actors to name the person who would click selfies on a battlefield and they unanimously say that it would be the host himself. At one point, KJo asks Dino, “If you woke up as Tiger Shroff, what would you do?” The actor replies, “I would do backflips, moonwalk myself to the airport and go to the Maldives because you know what’s in the Maldives.”
Well, we are now curious to find out what’s in the Maldives too! Thankfully, we will not have to wait long because this episode is going to release on Disney+Hotstar today itself. You can also watch Drashti, Dino and Kunal on the period drama, The Empire, on the same OTT platform. The show is based on the establishment of the Mughal empire in India and it’s one of the best historical dramas we’ve seen in a while.
