If there is someone in the Hindi film industry who knows how to shut down trolls and critics like a boss, it has to be Kareena Kapoor Khan. She is the queen of clapbacks and always has an answer for those trying to snoop into her personal life. Something similar happened recently after we heard rumours about the actress’s high remuneration for her role in Alaukik Desai’s Ramayana. The grapevine was abuzz that she has hiked her fee to a whooping sum of 12 crores for the role and the netizens had a lot to say on the topic (obviously)!
Kareena has finally addressed these rumours after keeping mum for months now and beware, haters, this is gonna burn!
Speaking to a media portal recently, Kareena talked about how her fee should not concern anyone but her. She said, “I don’t think anyone should have any issues with that and firstly no one knows what anybody charges. Figures are all floating in the air and you know no one is even bothered to clarify which is fine because it is such a private matter, it is such a personal thing. I don’t think anyone should know. I might want to do it only for free ya!”
The actress further added, “Who cares and like how does it affect anybody? That’s my love for cinema, my love, my passion for my work, it’s all up to my choice.” You go, Bebo–tell them how it’s done!
During the interaction, Kareena also had a message for trolls who are always on the prowl for what she says or does. The Laal Singh Chaddha actress said, “Trolls don’t affect me coz I don’t follow them and I am a very positive person. Anybody who knows me will know that I am always in a good mood and never in a bad mood you know with my fans and my paparazzi. I am a very easygoing person. So I think they don’t know me, so you know they just want to comment and that’s fine”.
Well, if only Bebo could rub some of that devil-may-care attitude on us as well!
