After months of waiting, we finally have an update about Kareena Kapoor Khan’s next big project and it is hella exciting. Bebo is set to make her digital debut and we have all the juicy deets about the project. The actress shared the announcement on the ‘Gram and we have all the juicy deets about her new venture.
Kareena shared a glimpse of her upcoming project, co-starring Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma in the lead with a sweet note. The actress penned, “And so it begins…12th Street Entertainment & Northern Lights Films in association with Boundscript and Kross Pictures present a Netflix Original directed by Sujoy Ghosh. Produced by Jay Shewakramani & Akshai Puri. Produced by Sujoy Ghosh & Thomas Kim.”
Bebo will be debuting with Netflix’s adaptation of Japanese writer Keigo Higashino’s The Devotion of Suspect X. In a recent interview, Kareena spoke about the project and said, “I’m very excited to be a part of this project for several reasons… This film will mark my streaming debut and it’s my return to acting after my second child with a stellar cast and crew,” Khan tells us, adding that the layered narrative of the murder mystery convinced her to take the plunge.”
The actress added, “The film is a screen adaptation of a work which was a global bestseller. It has so many aspects to it… murder, mystery, thrill and much more, which put in the hands of our inimitable director Sujoy Ghosh is something I am eager to start work on.”
The Devotion of Suspect X is considered to be one of the best works of Keigo Higashino. It is based on the life of a single mother who ends up in a mess after her former husband winds up dead at her apartment.
