Wait, What?! This Is Why Kareena Kapoor Is Receiving Flak For Her New Pregnancy Book

Breezy kaftans, gorgeous smile, and radiant skin—that’s exactly how we remember Kareena Kapoor Khan during her second pregnancy. She looked flawless (as usual) and made those nine months look like a cakewalk. But, it was not really. Recently, on International Yoga Day, she penned down a heartfelt note on her Instagram handle and shared her postpartum experience. The actress wrote, “Now after two babies and four months postpartum… this time I was just exhausted and in too much pain to get back but today I’m slowly and steadily getting back at it.”

She also took to her ‘Gram recently and shared the first glimpse of her book, titled Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Pregnancy Bible. In the caption, she wrote that her book would take her fans through her pregnancy journey and give them an idea about her good and bad days. Take a look at the video:

She wrote, “This has been quite the journey… both my pregnancies and writing my Pregnancy Bible. There were good days and bad days; some days I was raring to go to work and others where I struggled to get out of bed. This book is a very personal account of what I experienced both physically and emotionally through both my pregnancies.”

We’re in awe, Bebo! You’ve added another feather to your hat by becoming an author. Is there anything you can’t do? However, it looks like that the title of the book may land the actress in trouble. It so happens that AIMB (All India Minority Board) is not pleased with the name of her book as apparently, the use of the word ‘Bible’ has hurt their religious sentiments.

The Jab We Met actress has not replied to the controversy as of yet and has decided to continue with the OG title.

TBH, we are super excited to read her book! She called it her third child and revealed that it’s FOGSI (The Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India) approved. Kareena shared another video on her ‘Gram which said that while every soon-to-be mom experiences their pregnancy differently, she hoped that they would still find her book helpful in some ways. “We all have our own unique experiences as expectant mothers, but there are some similarities and with this book, I’m sharing my experiences and learnings, and hope that in some way this will help you on your journey towards motherhood,” she wrote.

NGL, we are pretty sure that Bebo has done a fab job as an author as well. BRB, pre-ordering the book RN because it might get out of stock after its release on August 10!
