Looks like Bigg Boss makers are hell-bent on making season 15 the most successful ever. This year, they have reached out to some of the biggest names in the TV industry to be a part of the show. And they have actually managed to get a “yes” from the celebrities. Karan Kundra and Tejasswi Prakash are two popular faces that have been confirmed for Bigg Boss 15 till now. Now, just a day before the grand premiere, another interesting name has been added to this line-up. A little birdie tells us that Jay Bhanushali is the latest TV celebrity to join the Bigg Boss 15 clan and this is indeed a huge development.
The makers were trying to pursue Rhea Chakraborty to sign up for the show and were already in talks with her. However, the deal fell through last minute and they frantically started searching for a popular face. Names like Jennifer Winget, Surbhi Chandna, and Erica Fernandes were raised as suitable replacements and we were almost sure that one of them would be seen in the show this year. Unfortunately, it did not work out with any of them and right when the makers were beginning to panic, Jay agreed to participate in the season 15.
“We were looking for a couple of popular TV actors and the deal with Jay materialised just a day before the contestants had to go inside the house,” an anonymous BB team member said in an interaction with an online media portal last night.
Not gonna lie, we are indeed a little disappointed with the entire Rhea situation and really wished to see her in Bigg Boss. That said, Jay sounds like an equally interesting contestant with his life-of-the-party personality. We have earlier seen him anchoring a number of popular reality shows like Superstar Singer, Indian Idol 10, and Sabse Bada Kalakar. It would be interesting to see how he puts his reality show experience to use in Bigg Boss. Well, we cannot wait to see how it unfolds with the amazing line-up of contestants this year.
