While sweating, our body regulates its temperature. However, it becomes an issue when you need to wipe the sweat off your body too often. Perhaps your hands always feel greasy, no matter what footwear you chose- flats or shoes, your feet always feel slippery. Or maybe your underarms are uncontrollably sweating. To control situations like that, you must firstly, get your routine checkups done. Understand if your body is actually trying to signal you about an underlying issue that can develop into a disease in the coming days.

Other than that, you must use a strong antiperspirant. While a deodorant works on your body odour, an antiperspirant works with eccrine glands which are responsible for sweat control. Antiperspirants use aluminium salts to block sweat. Ones it comes in contact with the sweat, it forms a gel cover over sweat glands. So the glands are still producing the sweat but it is not being released. For excessive body sweating, you must use a clinical strength antiperspirants. To get the best results, you must apply it at the right time. Do not apply it when you come out of the shower, rather apply it at night so it gets enough time to activate.

You can also dress strategically to reduce the effects of sweat. Choose your fabric and fit wisely. Some foods can trigger sweat, so maintain a diet that’s appropriate for the summers. Avoid spicy and caffeinated foods and drinks. Eat more melons and water-rich fruits. Stay hydrated. Take vitamin B. You must also exercise regularly to combat sweat.
