Sleeping with wet hair not only strips away the natural oil from the strands but also leads to the growth of Malassezia — a yeast-like fungus which results in scalp infection and dandruff. *yikes* Plus, since wet hair dampens the pillowcase, this too can lead to the growth of fungi. All these factors mixed together can destroy or weaken your hair follicles, resulting in hair fall.

4. If you don’t have the time to wait for your hair to dry completely, partially dry it to minimize damage.
