She embarks on her honeymoon to Paris and Amsterdam all by herself and discovers herself.


A fresh take on Disney princess films! The 2012 film has a feminist message in young princess Merida’s resistance to being told what to do. It was a huge success and won the Academy Award, the Golden Globe, and the BAFTA Award for Best Animated Feature Film. One of the cutest feminist films.

Hidden Figures

The 2016 American biographical drama film is directed by Theodore Melfi and based on the 2016 non-fiction book of the same name by Margot Lee Shetterly. The feminist movie is about African American female mathematicians who worked at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) during the Space Race. The Help

It stars an ensemble cast including Ratna Pathak, Konkona Sen Sharma, Aahana Kumra and Plabita Borthakur in lead roles.
