Alia Bhatt is currently having the time of her life. The actress’ latest release Gangubai Kathiawadi has left everyone impressed and it is smashing records at the box office. That’s not all, as it turns out Alia has her eyes set on a whole new horizon!
Following the footsteps of Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, and Ali Fazal, now Alia is all set to make her international debut soon. The film stars Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan too. NGL, we are hella are excited to see Alia making her way to the OG tinsel town.
The international spy thriller will be directed by Tom Harper and it will be backed by Netflix and Skydance. The announcement was shared on the official Instagram handle of Netflix India. The caption reads, “Starting our day by announcing (and screaming) that Alia Bhatt is going to be in Heart Of Stone.”
Alia spoke about her Hollywood dreams in an old interview and said, “I do hope to go there (Hollywood) someday and soon. That is like entering a whole new industry and that is not easy at all. I will have to do it with some more time on my hand.”
Back in 2021, Alia signed up with a prominent Hollywood agency and started looking for her big break. Recently, she spilled the beans on her decision and said, “Through the pandemic, things have slowed down a bit, but we’re going to make this happen. When there’s a will, there’s away.”
Finally, her wishes have come true and how! We are in awe of the film’s star cast already. Given how talented Alia is, we’re sure that she is going to be the next big thing in the city of dreams. All the best, Aloo!
