Charu has two women in her life who have helped her become who she is: Her mother and her sister. “My mom has always been a multitasker, an entrepreneur and a homemaker, but she never let us feel that she was busy. For every school performance, every PTA meeting, every sports day event, she was there. She encouraged us to become better human beings and focus on our spiritual side. She’s a fabulous woman, a great mother, and an amazing wife.

The other strong influence in my life has been my elder sister who has loved me, supported me, and accepted me. I admire her strength to deal with all the problems that I think she has learnt from my mother.”

At 50, she is doing marketing, social media, client management, and finances for her nursery and it’s inspirational that she’s learnt everything on her own.”

“This might sound cheesy, but my mother has been my biggest support. I’m an ex-investment banker and when I used to live in London alone, I had crazy hours! I don’t think she slept through the night in those years, for I would call her at odd hours of the night. She had this saying that I still live by, “This too shall pass,”” Ayesha quoted.
