Charu has two women in her life who have helped her become who she is: Her mother and her sister. “My mom has always been a multitasker, an entrepreneur and a homemaker, but she never let us feel that she was busy. For every school performance, every PTA meeting, every sports day event, she was there. She encouraged us to become better human beings and focus on our spiritual side. She’s a fabulous woman, a great mother, and an amazing wife.
The other strong influence in my life has been my elder sister who has loved me, supported me, and accepted me. I admire her strength to deal with all the problems that I think she has learnt from my mother.”

Shreya says, “For me, it would be my mother. She has given me strength and support all my life—when I was studying at IIT and now when I have my own business. She was a housewife for over 20 years after she got married, but once my sister and I got settled in life, she pursued higher education, got a PhD and become an entrepreneur. At 50, she is doing marketing, social media, client management, and finances for her nursery and it’s inspirational that she’s learnt everything on her own.”

“My biggest inspiration and motivation has been my daughter, Tahira Tara. She is my best accomplishment and greatest achievement. The one who keeps me inspired every day of my life. She’s my biggest strength and possibly my only weakness,” Kalyani says.

Namrata tells us, “My inspiration throughout my life was my mother, she was always there for me. She always guided me. And after she passed away, my sisters became my guiding lights.”
