DIY Pineapple Skincare Recipes
Pineapple has amazing skincare properties and just applying pure pineapple juice on your bare skin can give you a glowing complexion in a matter of minutes.
Here’s how you can enjoy everything that pineapples have to offer in the form of DIYs!
DIY Pineapple Mask
You’ll Need:
- Freshly cut pineapple
- Honey
- Green teabags
- Cotton balls
- Bowl
Step 1: Take some freshly cut pineapple slices (2-3) and run them in a blender for about a minute to turn them into a puree.
Step 2: Meanwhile, take one green tea bag and put it in a hot mug of water and let it sit for about 20 mins.
Step 3: In a bowl, 5 tbsp. pineapple puree, 2 tbsp honey and 2 tbsp green tea and stir them nicely.
Your DIY pineapple mask is ready to be used. Apply this sweet mask all over your face & neck for 30 minutes and then wash it off. Do this once a week and we bet your skin will start glowing to the gods.
DIY Pineapple Scrub
You’ll Need:
- Freshly cut pineapple
- Honey
- Oatmeal
- Bowl
Step 1: Take a few pineapple slices (3-4) and run them in a blender to turn them into a puree.
Step 2: Next, pour out the puree in a bowl and then add 3 tbsp. oatmeal in it.
Step 3: Add 2 drops of honey and your DIY pineapple scrub is ready to be used.
This scrub is for everyone who hates using abrasive scrubs and is looking for some better options. Plus, it smells absolutely divine!
DIY Pineapple Ice Cubes
You’ll Need:
- Pineapple juice
- Mint leaves
- Finely diced cucumbers
- Ice tray
- Jug
Step 1: In a jug, add a glass of fresh pineapple juice, 10-15 mint leaves and about 3 tbsp. finely diced cucumber slices. Stir everything well.
Step 2: Next, pour the juice into an ice tray and place it in a refrigerator for about an hour and that’s it.
Fruit-infused ice cubes are amazing to use every day as they not only help freshen up the skin but also make the face look less puffy while adding a pinkish glow to your complexion.
