Indian audience (except Salman Khan fans) is convinced that movies don’t become a hit based on face value, it is the story that matters the most. Why else would a star-studded film like Kalank fail so epically? Or Salaam-E-Ishq? Or Houseful 2, 3 and 4! Now, from the looks of it, we are wondering if Karan Johar’s next, Brahmastra, is also headed to the flop shop.
According to recent reports, the Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna (phew) starrer, Brahmastra, will include cameos of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh too! Mind you, we are saying “too” because KJo’s fave Shah Rukh Khan is already a part of the film, as confirmed by wrestler Saurav Gurjar who’s playing a negative role in the film.
If anyone’s keeping a count, BTW, we are currently sitting at eight big celebrities…in one movie! In fact, we won’t be surprised if Aamir Khan were to join the cast too. And here’s why:

Alia-Ranbir and Deepika-Ranveer have been spotted hanging out together especially at Award shows and parties. While Alia and Ranveer have worked together in Gully Boy and some TV ads, exes Ranbir and Deepika have done three movies together including Tamasha, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Bachna Ae Haseeno. After attending the latest season of Koffee With Karan together, this is the first time we will see Alia and Deepika, and Ranbir and Ranveer sharing screen space…all together.
