So when he posted a picture on his Instagram with Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone and Aamir Khan in the same frame, he managed to get us all excited. His caption “The biggest BLOCKBUSTER ever!!!” further fuelled our imagination.

The first time I saw this picture, I was forced to take a second look! Karan Johar has a knack for getting exes together but Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in the same room? That’s a huge deal. And he even managed to add Alia Bhatt to the mix. This get-together was held at Ranbir Kapoor’s home and the actors were spotted leaving his place at 6 in the morning, with Ranveer still looking fresh as a daisy!
Ranbir Kapoor just moved into his bachelor pad and we guess he’ll be having biryani now, bye-bye dal chawal! While Aamir Khan looks exceptionally awkward in the picture, the three musketeers, Ranbir, Ranveer and Karan Johar seem to be getting along fantastically.
Ranveer Singh’s Simmba mustache clearly isn’t going anywhere. Reportedly, Deepika and Ranveer recently postponed their November wedding to January, sharing their available dates with the filmmakers. The Bajirao Mastani couple has never made a statement about dating, but their social media PDA is surely a sight to behold. From cute little comments on each other’s posts to Deepika commenting ‘Mine’ on Ranveer’s picture, they sure make love look easy.
Ranbir Kapoor and girlfriend Alia Bhatt, on the other hand, will be seen together in Karan Johar’s 2019 release, Brahmastra which also stars Mouni Roy and Amitabh Bachchan. Alia has been crediting Ranbir for all her recent Instagram clicks, and Ranbir discussed his relationship status in a recent interview with a leading magazine. He said, “It’s really new right now, and I don’t want to overspeak. It needs time to breathe and it needs space. As an actor, as a person, Alia is – what’s the right word? – flowing right now. When I see her work, when I see her act, even in life, what she gives is something that I’m aspiring to for myself. It’s new for us, so let it cook a bit.”
Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone’s break-up has been one of the most talked about break-ups in Bollywood, but the two seemed to have reached a healthy equation now as Ranbir and Ranveer get along famously.
In an interview with a leading news channel, Ranbir said, “The amount of love I have for Deepika is like family. It’s very warm, it’s about care, about being proud of her. The facet of love, care and respect has changed but changed for the better. It’s not your immature “I love her” kind of feeling. It’s mature and that has come with age. Also, we have both positively moved on with our lives.” The two have since acted in movies like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Tamasha together.
Karan Johar also announced a multi-starer, Takht with Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Sanjay Dutt and Janhvi Kapoor. If we are to believe his caption, then this might beat Takht to be the biggest Bollywood movie ever made.
