According to the grapevine, Deepika will be seen in Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara’s Jawan. The source revealed to a leading daily that Deepika will appear in a short yet impactful stint in the film and the crew could not be happier.
Furthermore, the source also said that the star has been discussing her role in length with both Shah Ruhk as well as director Atlee Kumar. According to reports, the trio met in Hyderabad while Deepika was shooting for Project K. They had a detailed discussion about her character as well as shoot dates. Although nothing has been signed on paper, Deepika has given her word and TBH, that’s good enough for us!
Besides her rumoured cameo in Jawan, netizens also believe that Deepika will be seen in Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s Brahmāstra. In a snippet of the 4K trailer released by Ayan Mukerji, eagle-eyed fans are totally convinced that they will see Deepika in the film. Netizens believe that the character Jal has a striking resemblance to Deepika and even shared screenshots of the scene as proof.
