The gossip mills in B-town are always buzzing, and it can get difficult to separate the truth from all this hearsay. According to the latest on the grapevine, there is some tension going on between Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt.
The buzz has it that it all started after Alia made her Met Gala debut and the internet speculated that DP got “insecure”. Just a day before Alia was all set to grace the Met steps, DP posted a throwback images from the 95th Oscars. The actress received a lot of backlash for this. Now, her latest action has further added fuel to the fire.
Amid all the uproar, Deepika allegedly began following an anti-Alia Twitter account. As per reports, this Twitter user known as ‘Instajustice13’ frequently trolls Alia and even expresses a lot of hatred for the actress. The owner of this account confirmed that Deepika followed their page by posting a short video with the caption, “Not #DeepikaPadukone following my backup account.”

Deepika, on the other hand, appears to have unfollowed the account after the fiasco. As soon as the post surfaced on the internet, netizens went berserk in the comment section. Some people backed DP, while others began to mock her.
Deepika Padukone‘s fan page claimed they were the reason the actress unfollowed the account instantly. They shared a screenshot of an Instagram DM they sent to DP, which she opened. According to the fan page, Deepika was unaware of the malicious account and immediately corrected the situation by unfollowing it. They wrote, “She unfollowed that account after seeing my texts so she definitely wasn’t aware of it!”
We’re certain that this is simply a misunderstanding and nothing serious. We live in a time when two top actresses can coexist peacefully without any drama. We hope there is no resentment between Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt. You go, girls!
