Stow away your make-up for the season, celebrities are baring it all and you might want to follow suit. It’s intriguing how stars are ditching over-the-top make-up or in some cases going make-up free for a fresh-faced look. There’s nothing like embracing your natural beauty and Christina Aguilera’s recent photo shoot for a leading International magazine proves this theory to perfection.
For her photo shoot, Christina went make-up free. No foundation, no bold lip colours, nothing! It’s amazing to see someone who is mostly seen wearing falsies with red and pink lip colours, flash her freckles and blue eyes and look more stunning (if that were possible).
The magazine cover shows a close-up of her face and her hand with a ring that says “Mom.” Christina has two kids Max (10) and Summer (3). All images from the shoot are sans make-up though it does feature some out-there eye make-up and dramatic hairstyles.
Christina shared with the magazine, “I’ve always been someone that obviously loves to experiment, loves theatrics, loves to create a storyline and play a character in a video or through the stage,” she added. “I’m a performer, that’s who I am by nature. But I’m at the place, even musically, where it’s a liberating feeling to be able to strip it all back and appreciate who you are and your raw beauty.”
Her interview focused on her transformation as a star. She shared that fir her “Dirrty” was a “game changer.”
Although Christina is in no mood to go make-up free herself, her shoot says a lot about how beauty should be looked at — beauty products help you enhance the beauty that you already have. “I mean, I’m a girl that likes a beat face, let’s not get it twisted,” she said.
