If you think catching up with all the Bigg Boss 16 drama is tough, try figuring out Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa’s relationship. The couple tied the knot in 2019 in a fairytale ceremony but ended up hitting a rough patch within a year. Post that, they tried working on the relationship and welcomed a baby girl in 2021. While all appeared well for some time, it looks like Rajeev and Charu’s marriage is in deep trouble once again.
In a recent interview, Charu revealed that the couple is done for good this time and she has decided to opt for a divorce. The Akbar Ka Bal Birbal actress said, “No one gets married with an intention to end it. I didn’t want to regret my decision of calling it off. So, I tried everything I could to save it, also because this was my second marriage. Iss sab mein mazaak toh mera hi bann raha tha, but I thought ki kya pata shaadi chal jaaye (In all of this I am the one who is turning into a fool, but I thought it might save my marriage). Yeh karte karte ab ye ek tamaasha bann chuka hai (Doing all this has made a mockery of the marriage). I think we aren’t made for each other… yeh shaadi kabhi work karegi nahi (this marriage won’t ever work).”
Charu also accused Rajeev of raising his hand on a few occasions. The telly star added, “Rajeev is temperamental, has abused and even raised his hand on me once or twice. He would suspect me of cheating on him. When I was shooting for Akbar Ka Bal Birbal, he sent messages to my co-actors to stay away from me. It became difficult for me to work. I feel that he was cheating on me, but that’s something I can’t prove.”
Meanwhile, Rajeev has denied all the allegations and called Charu a ‘drama queen’ in an interview. He said, “We should visit a doctor together and let him decide who needs help.”
