There’s hardly any person who doesn’t know about Bollywood celebrities’ love for football. Several B-town actors own teams in the Indian Super League (ISL), one of the hottest football leagues in India. Abhishek Bachchan co-owns Chennaiyin FC along with cricketer MS Dhoni. Apart from being a huge fan of Barcelona Football Club, Ranbir Kapoor also owns Mumbai City FC at the ISL. Interestingly enough, apart from cheering his players during their match, he also takes tips from them to improve his own game.

Oh wait, you did know that Ranbir is quite an impressive football player, right? And, he’s not alone. Arjun Kapoor, who co-owns Pune FC is often seen with the Roy actor. Tiger Shroff, Dino Morea, and Saif Ali Khan’s son, Ibrahim Ali Khan are regularly spotted on the field as well. Basically, our stars like to spend their weekends enjoying the game with their buddies and we love getting a sneak peek of the same.

Well, lucky for us, we stumbled upon a few pics of these Bollywood actors having a friendly football match over the weekend. Honestly, we would have loved to get some tickets to watch their game, but oh well, these pics and videos are great as well. Take a look:

Ranbir, Dino and Ibrahim wore blue jerseys that had the name of Abhishek’s NGO called ‘Playing For Humanity’ written on it. Arjun wore an all-black outfit and while we’re keen to know the results of their match, for now, we can only say that the game looks pretty intense.

We have to say that these snaps reminded us of the football match that happened between the actors and Indian cricket team players in 2016. Now, we all know that the charity match, Celebrity Classico 2016 ended in a 2-2 draw. But NGL, fans have been eagerly waiting for the teams to get together for another round for years now. Back then, Ranbir had said, “It’s been my favourite sport since childhood and we all took it seriously. We play every Sunday. We’re really happy that we can play for such a good cause.”

It’s great to see that some things never change. Our B-town actors’ enthusiasm to play football every weekend being one of them.

Boys, if you’re listening, we are waiting for another season of Celebrity Classico soon. Hope you guys are all warmed up by now!
