Gangubai Kathiawadi
If we’re talking about the biopics that will release in 2021 then, of course, we have to talk about Gangubai Kathiawadi. Alia Bhatt plays the titular character in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film that will take you back to the 1960s. The movie is about Gangubai, the famous brothel owner from Mumbai’s Kamathipura.
The first trailer of the film dropped recently and Alia’s powerful avatar has already become the talk of the town.
83
83 is definitely one of the most-anticipated movies of 2021. It is about one of the most-admired skippers of the Indian Cricket Team, Kapil Dev. And, the character is played by one of the most talented actors of Bollywood–Ranveer Singh. The film would have released back in 2020 itself had it not been for the pandemic. Nevertheless, the movie is now set to release on June 4, 2021.
P.S. DeepVeer fans are in for a treat this time because Deepika Padukone will be playing Ranveer’s wife in the movie!
Thalaivi
This multilingual film is based on the life of the late actress and politician, J. Jayalalithaa. The character will be played by the very talented Kangana Ranaut. The movie will release on June 26, 2021.
Shershah

Sidharth Malhotra will be playing the character of Captain Batra in Shershah and the movie will release on July 2, 2021. The movie will also be the first to star the rumoured couple, Kiara Advani and Sidharth together.
