MC Stan’s real name is Altaf Shaikh and he is one of the most popular underground rappers from Pune. The young hip-hopper is best known for his tracks Lowkey, Khuja Mat, Yede Ki Chadaar among many more. In a conversation with Bigg Boss 16 host Salman Khan, the rapper revealed that his stage name Stan is a combination of Shaitaan (Satan) and Insaan (Human).
While Stan is just 23, he already has come out with two albums— Insaan and Tadipaar. At the age of 12, he started singing qawalis, but he soon became interested in rapping and got inspired by the underground rappers in Mumbai.

MC Stan has been quite private about his family life and often calls himself an ‘underground artiste’. A little birdie told us that the singer has seen his fair share of struggles before achieving fame. He has often rapped about how his mother doesn’t approve of his lifestyle but he still hopes to get her approval.
MC Stan was earlier dating rapper Niya for a while but the two called off their relationship earlier this year. During Bigg Boss 16′s premiere episode, he revealed that he is dating rapper Anam Shaikh and is planning to get engaged soon.

-He shot to fame following his collaboration video with Raftaar and dropped a diss track about Emiway Bantai titled Samjh Mein Aaya Kya. Later, Bantai also dissed MC Stan in his songs and this rap war continues even today.
-MC Stan made headlines earlier this year after his ex-girlfriend said that he got her beaten up by miscreants. However, no arrest was made in the case.
-The rapper’s elder brother introduced him to hip-hop when he was 12 years old and it changed his life. Stan initially started his journey in the music industry with B-boying and beatboxing, before taking up rapping.
