The best kind of dress-up party is the one that involves your BFF because that’s when it is the most fun! Whether you are going out on a girl’s night or a shopping spree, you put on your chicest and comfiest clothes. And if you both share even a slightly similar dress sense, you probably end up twining with them every-damn-time. Am I right or am I right?
That’s exactly what happened in Mumbai last night with two star kids and BFFs, Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor.
Two of the three Charlie’s Angels, Suhana and Shanaya, stepped out for a movie date in a black and blue denim combination. Yes, both of them!
There’s Suhana absorbing all the camera flashes as she gets papped in the city. The young actress is currently back at home for the winter break from New York University, where she’s pursuing filmmaking. According to reports, post her studies is when Suhana will make her big, official debut in Bollywood.
Behind her is Shanaya who can be faintly seen wearing the same colour combination as Miss Khan, only inverted. The 20-year-old is going to make her Bollywood debut this year with cousin and actress Janhvi Kapoor’s film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. In the film, Shanaya has worked as an Assistant Director to kickstart her career in the film industry.
Coming back to their ‘same same but different’ outfits for the movie night, here’s a closer look at what the best friends decided to wear.
Suhana went with black separates in the form of loose-fitting trousers and a cropped top, paired with an oversized and lightly distressed blue denim jacket. She completed the look with black sneakers and a muted orange textured sling bag for the night. A lip gloss is all she needed to look fresh and picture-ready.
Shanaya, on the other hand, trusted a pair of good ol’ skinny jeans in slashed-knee style paired with a black sweatshirt that says ‘Guilty Parties’. She, too, completed the look with sneakers and a sling bag with the former in grey mesh and the latter in white, matching her sweatshirt’s typography. Of course, there was a pair of hoops, guys!
