After winning millions of hearts with his soothing voice, singer Akhil Sachdeva finally gave away his own heart to someone special earlier this week. The Kabir Singh and Badrinath Ki Dulhania singer tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Tanya Gulla recently and we just got some scoop from the wedding. The two tied the knot at Jaipur’s Samod Haveli and the inside pics from the wedding are something to look at. Well, what are we waiting for? Both Akhil and Tanya look every bit radiant in their wedding attires and we are really in awe of just how good they look together. That said, Tanya is, of course, stealing the show with her magenta lehenga with its silverwork that’s beautifully complimenting Akhil’s sehra. We also have our eyes on the sky grey details of her lehenga and the OTT jewels, especially that maang tikka!

Yellow For Mehendi? Groundbreaking!
Okay, so most couples are spotted in at least one yellow outfit at their wedding these days. So what’s so special about Akhil and Tanya’s yellow outfits? The fact that they wore them for their mehendi and not haldi. We know we have your attention.
For their mehendi function, the couple opted for matching yellow outfits with Akhil’s chikankari kurta nicely complimenting Tanya’s pre-draped saree. We are definitely loving the gota patti details of Akhil’s kurta! That said, it is Tanya’s versatile saree that we think all brides (and even bridesmaids) can take some comfortable festive dressing lessons from. It was just last week that Akhil took to Instagram to share a picture from the roka ceremony in which the couple can be seen smiling ear to ear. It was around the same time that Akhil shared their beautiful love story in a statement toa leading media daily and said, “Tanya had come to my concert six years back when she was just 19. She saw me for the first time and told her mother that when she grows up, she would want to marry me. After my concert, her mother came to me and said that to me. We became friends after that.”
