Did you know that Blake Lively uses mayonnaise as a hair mask? Yup, it is true!

Your fav sandwich spread is a great ingredient to add shine to dull strands. All you need to do is apply a generous amount to your hair and use it as a pre-shampoo treatment. Keep it on for not more than 20 minutes and then rinse off.

Also, if you add a few drops of almond oil and vinegar to it, it can effectively get rid of hair lice.

Beer

Believe it or not, your staple alcoholic beverage is amazing for hair too! Since beer is fermented, it contains a decent amount of yeast which helps keep the locks shiny and acts as a good source of protein for damaged hair.

Just pour it on your hair and leave it for about 30 minutes before rinsing it off with shampoo. Do this once a week and your hair will love you for it! No wonder Hollywood celebrity, Catherine Zeta-Jones is such a fan of this!

Aspirin

Did you know that aspirin contains salicylic acid? That’s probably why so many internet forums advice you use it as a spot treatment in case you’re having breakouts!

To use it for your hair, cut some aspirin tablets, and put in into your go-to shampoo bottle. When it dissolves fully, just mix it up thoroughly and start using it. The salicylic acid will help retain your hair’s natural shine.

Sugar Water

If you relate to Monica’s *it’s the humidity* moment in F.R.I.E.N.D.S, you’re going to love this beauty hack. Take 2-3 tbsps of sugar and mix it in 1 1/2 glass of water. When it is fully dissolved transfer it into a spray bottle and spritz it onto your hair to get rid of any frizz.
