#BridalInspiration: The Best Real Bride Outfits We’ve Spotted On Social Media

It takes days, sometimes months for a bride-to-be to find her dream bridal lehenga and outfits for all the other functions. Every bride has her own unique style and preferences and only want to settle for the best for the special day. From tradition-led vermillion to edgy cocktail gowns, there is an array of attires we get to see on our Instagram feeds. So here we are, charting the best of real bride outfits we had saved in our archives to see, sigh and then see again. Take a look!

The Traditional Reds and Pinks

Considered to be an auspicious colour for a wedding, red is donned by a majority of Indian brides. With many choosing to wear variations of the colour and even experimenting with contrasting dupattas, the evergreen colour always manages to look fabulous on a bride.

Gowns Galore

Couture gowns are catching up at weddings and we just love their edgy+elegant+glam appeal. Dainty ruffles, drapes, sculpted finesse and all that jazz, gowns are a must for a new-age bride. For a night of dancing at the cocktail party or for the princesses feels on the day of your engagement, pick yourself a gorgeous gown.

The Saree Effect

Be it a conventional saree gifted by the bride’s mother, or a pre-draped saree gown, the whole 9-yards has a way of looking great on every body type. We’re especially loving this silk baby pink saree by Manish Malhotra that the bride has paired with a gold waistbelt for all the Maharani feels.

Plush Pastels

Pale pinks and dusty hues were all the rage this season and will continue well into 2019 too. If pink is not your thing, pastel blues and greens also look great. For a day wedding or for an understated elegant look, the pastel trend is your best friend.

A Break From Tradition

Remember those times when brides never ventured out of their safe territories? Well, it’s not like that anymore. From colours to cut and prints, there are not set rules. Navy blue for the wedding or frills to go with your bridal saree, experimenting is the way to go.
