Day weddings are a total mood. The sun shining bright up in the sky just sets a whole different vibe as compared to evening weddings. We bet you already have a few invites to today weddings now that the weather is nice and cooler, so it’s only fair to get with the vibe and glam up the right way for the occasion. Since day weddings often include being outside with nature, it’s a good idea to opt for a more soft glam approach when it comes to makeup. It is just the best choice! Your makeup should look fresh and alluring if you want it to wear well throughout the celebrations. A lighter yet radiant base with blushed skin is always welcome, day or night, and pretty lipstick shades are a no-brainer as well. So, all you need to really focus on is your eyes.

Now, you may not be as privileged as the bride on her wedding day to have an on-site professional makeup artist to get ready, but you won’t be needing that anyway. These soft smokey eye makeup looks are classy and just the right amount of glam you need to slay the day. You don’t even need much skill to recreate these eye makeup looks. They are super beginner friendly and require only classic makeup products that you may already have in your makeup kit. Besides, smokey eyes never fail to impress!

Soft Smokey Eye Makeup Looks Perfect For The AM

Mocha Toast

Shanaya Kapoor makes the perfect case for soft smokey eyes. It highlights her eyes and lets her blush and lipstick pop as well. To create this look simply smudge brown kohl on your lids and blend it above your crease lines. Smudge the same kohl on your lower lash lines as well. Dab a dark brown shimmer eyeshadow on your lids and seal the deal with mascara.

Inner Sanctum

This soft glam brown smokey eye look spotted on Sara Ali Khan is so gorgeous we have to cop it right away. She has a toasty brown eyeshadow blended in the crease of her lids and outer corners while a silver eyeshadow is blended on the inner corners and centre of her lids. Her lash lines feature softly smudged brown eyeliner to make her lashes look thicker.

Sunny Eyes

Alia Bhatt gives us a unique way to rock smokey eyes. She uses a magenta pink eyeshadow on her lids and lower lash lines to create a smokey effect and then smudges brown kohl on her lash lines for light definition. Gold highlighter is used on the inner corners of her lids and a gold eye pencil on her lash lines.

Golden Girl

Leave it to Malaika Arora to serve up a smokey eye makeup look that just takes the cake. A dark brown eyeshadow is blended on the lids and lower lash lines and is topped with gold eyeshadow. Her lash lines are then defined with kohl and lightly smudged for a soft effect.

Spotlight Siren

This smokey eye is so gorgeous it feels fit for a queen. A dark chocolate brown eyeshadow is smeared and blended on the lids, lower lash lines, and above the crease lines. Gold liquid eyeshadow is then dabbed only on the centre of the lids and blended to give a halo effect. Some of the gold eyeshadow is also blended on the lower lash lines.

Feline Instinct

The reverse cat eyeliner with a smokey effect is one sure shot way to make a statement. Use a brown eyeshadow on and above your crease lines and then extend it outwards to form wings that accentuate your eye shape. Apply the same shade below your lower lash lines as well. Apply a lighter eyeshadow of your choice on your lids, you could go with gold, silver, or even nude. Tightline your lash lines with kohl and softly smudge them. Swipe on mascara and you’re done.

Choose any of these soft smokey eye makeup looks and be sure to slay at the party.
