Ariel, Who? Sana Khan Gives Us A Lesson In Slaying The Mermaid Eye Makeup Look

Dear Sana Khan, whoever did your eye makeup deserves a kiss on the forehead for doing such a brilliant job! In a world that plays it safe by sticking to neutral hues, you chose to stand out by using bright colours as your weapon. In this case, giving Ariel the little mermaid a run for her seashells. And it’s not just your eye makeup that we’re going gaga about, it’s also the rest of it. Defined brows, long, curly lashes, a soft pop of blush on the cheeks, pale pink on the pout and mermaid matte pencil eyeliner. Trust us, if looks could kill, we’d be *dead* by now!

Step 1: First, use an eyeshadow primer to prep and brighten the eyelids.

Step 2: Do your base with a green colour eye pencil and use your ring finger to blend the product. (Aim to not go higher than the crease area)

Step 3: Apply a liquid sparkly blue eyeshadow on top of the green base and on the crease to create that pretty mermaid tail colour.

Step 4: Use the remaining product under your lower lashline to complete the look.

Step 5: Once your lids are coloured, use an eyeliner to draw a sleek black liner on your upper lashline.

Step 6: Generously coat your lashes with mascara and you’re done!

Since perfect brows and bold eye makeup are a match made in heaven, we’ll also teach how to fill them in so you too can look like our pretty mermaid, Sana Khan!

Grab a notebook and pen, will you?

Step 1: If you spot any stray hair, use a tweezer to pull it out.

Step 2: In an upward direction, use a spoolie to brush your brows in.

Step 3: Then, place the scissors in a horizontal manner to trim all the brow hair that’s gathered at the top. (This helps to give your brows not just definition, but a sharp shape too!)

Step 4: To fill in the gaps, you can either use brow powder or a pencil to fill in your brows.

Step 5: To blend the product, use a spoolie again in an upward direction.

Step 6: In order for your brows to not lose its shape during the day, you may to use a clear brow setting gel.

Step 7: Dust some translucent powder over the brows to make them look neat and sharp.

And to remove all this heavy makeup, you know what to use *Wink*
