Ranveer Singh Just Called Himself ‘Husband Of The Century’ For This Reason & We’re Not Impressed

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are one of the cutest jodis in B-town! They are the true definition of #RelationshipshipGoals and make for an endearing couple. We love getting to know more about them and their life with each other. And if you’re anything like us, then we have something special to share with you.
Ranveer, who is all set to appear as the host of a quiz show titled The Big Picture, sat down for a round of his own. In a recent promo shared by Colors on Insta, the actor answered some interesting questions. One of the questions involved guessing the name of the temple he and Deepika visited on their first wedding anniversary.

To which he answered in Hindi, “I should know, obviously I should know otherwise I’ll get a lappad (slap) when I get back home.” He further added, “Basically, Deepika and I thought we should do something special on our first anniversary. As you know, our life is similar to 2 States (Chetan Bhagat’s novel). Her family is from Bengaluru, mine is from Mumbai. So we thought since it’s our first anniversary, why don’t we visit both places. We went to the Golden Temple in Amritsar but before that, we visited the temple seen in the picture, which is the Tirupati temple.” After getting the name right, he went ahead and called himself ‘husband of the century’. Such high praise for remembering the name of a temple? Ummm…sure. We love you Ranveer, but giving yourself credit for doing the bare minimum doesn’t sit right with us! Check out the video here:

If you’re wondering when you’d get to watch The Big Picture, then let us tell you that the show will premiere on October 16 and will air on weekends on Colors TV. Earlier in a statement, the Bajirao Mastani actor spoke about his upcoming TV debut. He said, “In my journey as an artist, the urge to experiment and explore has been constant. Indian cinema has undeniably given me everything – it’s been a platform for me to excel and showcase my skills as an actor.”

Well, here’s wishing the actor all the very best for his special project. We’re absolutely certain that he’s going to do a fab job as a host!
