It isn’t a hidden truth that our national capital region has been shrouded by smog in recent days. From halting construction work to implementing odd-even vehicle rule to shutting down schools, the authorities have been trying all kinds of measures to curb the menace of toxic air. While all these means have been partially successful in mitigating the toxicity, there’s another ray of hope for the state’s citizens, and that is the arrival of NCR’s first ever oxygen chamber in Gurugram.
Located near the busiest metro station of Gurugram – HUDA city centre, the oxygen chamber is a project initiated by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation in collaboration with Nurturing Green, an NCR-based company. Sprawled across an area of 13,000 sq feet, the chamber comprises of mechanical air purifiers along with hundreds of anti- polluting plants with a greenhouse and open area.
The best part is, there’s no visiting fee. Now the visitors can walk in for free, breathe some fresh air and even buy plants of their choice.
We definitely admire the unique effort of DMRC and Nurturing Green towards escaping people from choking pollution. NCR finally has a place now where people can go and get some fresh air, literally. We can’t wait to visit, can you?
