In an effort to prevent the spread of coronavirus, Thailand has imposed a lockdown till the 15th of April. As of now, the country has about 2,300 cases of COVID-19 and is doing its best to take necessary precautions to keep not only its citizens safe but newborn babies too.
Paolo Hospital Samutprakarn in Thailand is taking special care of its newborns by making them wear tiny, adorable face shields. Pictures of the little ones wearing shield masks first surfaced on the internet on the 3rd of April. Posted by the hospital on their Facebook page, these pictures have taken the internet by storm. Here, take a look!
How adorable does this tiny baby look? The hospital congratulated the parents on Facebook and also wrote a post that reads as, “We have extra protection measures for little ones and friends, with a face shield for newborns. So cute!”
The healthcare workers and nurses seem to also be enjoying their jobs and one of them even clicked this cute picture cradling a baby with a face shield mask on. This picture is gold!

There’s no reason why these pictures should not go viral. This hospital is probably the first to have come up with this innovative idea of preventing babies from catching the virus. All the baby pictures on their FB feed have gotten more than 5,000 likes and many people even commented with heart emojis and thanked the nurses and doctors at the hospital for going an extra mile to ensure that these newborns stay safe during the pandemic wave.
